Further to the recent controversy regarding horse meat in processed meals please accept this statement as confirmation that all beef mince and diced beef produced by Knight Meats is of UK origin. Also, all fresh burgers are produced from meat supplied by Millers of Scotland and is authentic Aberdeen Angus beef. (Click here to see Miller letter )

One of the main features of Knight Meats is the breadth of products it offers, with a comprehensive range of fresh meat, poultry and a large range of deli products. Also included are an extensive range of cheese and speciality products.. Where possible, all lamb, pork and poultry are locally sourced with beef from England, Scotland, Europe and Australia. The main aim is to have a wide range of products readily available. The range includes a large number of specialist meats, including the more unusual ones such as kangaroo and crocodile. It is safe to say these are not being locally sources and are provided for the restaurant looking for something a bit different to offer its customers.

Whatever the item, the main feature that sets Knight Meats own products apart is the way they're prepared. Once the meat arrives at the factory, the quality control and unique specification of all the products is the key to satisfied customers. All steaks are fully larder trimmed with fillet steaks ex the chain, sirloin steaks centre cut and rump steaks with the gristle and tail removed. All steaks are produced from prime quality aged steer beef before preparation. The same high level of specification applies across the full range of products, including all Chicken Supremes being produced in-house. Knight Meats also produces its own unique range of hand made sausages, which is another success story for the company.
